Returns and Exchanges

Thank you for shopping with Ethan and Lara. We want you to be delighted with your purchase. If for any reason you’re not fully satisfied, this policy explains how returns and exchanges work for customers in the United Kingdom.


1. Eligibility for Returns

You may return eligible items within 28 days of the date you received your order.

To be eligible for a return, the item must:

  • Be in its original condition
  • Have all original packaging
  • Have no signs of wear or damage
  • Include any tags or accessories

Please note that for hygiene and safety reasons, certain items cannot be returned if they have been worn — for example, earrings and pierced jewellery where seals or packaging have been opened. (Adjust this line based on your actual product hygiene rules.)


2. How to Request a Return

To start a return:

  • Visit the Returns Portal on our website (link in footer), or email us at:

  • Provide your order number and the reason for the return
  • Follow the instructions provided in your return authorisation

Return requests must be initiated within 28 days of delivery.

Returns not authorised in advance cannot be accepted.


3. Return Shipping (UK)

You are responsible for the cost of returning the item(s) unless:

✔ The item is defective,
✔ The item is incorrect or damaged at delivery.

In those cases, we will provide a prepaid return label for UK addresses.

Please retain your proof of postage until your return has been processed.


4. Exchanges

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges online.

If you would like a different size, colour, or product, please:

  • Return the original item for a refund
  • Place a new order for the item you want

5. Refunds

Once we receive your returned item:

✔ We will inspect it
✔ Then issue a refund to your original payment method

Refund timing:

  • Refunds are processed within 3–7 business days after the return is received
  • Your bank or card provider may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account

Refunds cover the item price only; original shipping charges are not refunded, unless the return is due to a fault on our part.


6. Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive an item that is defective, damaged, or not as described:

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery
  • Email support@ethanandlara.com with order number and a photo of the issue
  • We will arrange a replacement or refund at no extra cost

We may ask for images to assess the issue.


7. Cancellation

Orders can be cancelled before they are dispatched.

Please contact us immediately at support@ethanandlara.com if you need to cancel.

Once an order has shipped, it must be returned through the returns process above.


8. International Returns

If you shipped outside the UK, return shipping policies may vary.

Please contact our support team at support@ethanandlara.com for instructions.

International customers are responsible for duties / taxes and return shipping costs unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

If your order is being shipped into the EU, you have the right to cancel or return it within 14 days for any reason, without justification. The item must be unworn or unused, with tags, in its original packaging, and include proof of purchase.
